HOW IT ALL STARTED

I have been a big Elvis fan for the over 30 years now, and love his music. My favourite era was the ‘jumpsuit’ years from 1970-1977. In my opinion there had been no performer before Elvis and believe there has been no one to compare with him since.

In the past I have worked as a solo artist as a Comedy Impressionist, and also as part of a Musical & Comedy duo and trio. My Elvis act was always the finale of each performance, because you cannot not follow the ’King’!

The idea for the Elvis Singing Telegram originated about 10 years ago after my Elvis act was seen on stage during a Cabaret show for a Music and Comedy duo. In between 3 straight songs I told jokes, interacted with the audience and ad-libbed with hecklers. The show went down a storm ....and the Elvis Singing Telegram was born. Since then it has gone from strength to strength providing hilarious family entertainment throughout the U.K.

WHAT IS AN ELVIS-O-GRAM?

My ELVIS-O-GRAM is more like a 'mini' Cabaret show. My aim is not to embarrass, but to make the participant feel special, and also to entertain your friends and family.

Here’s a brief description of what’s involved.... I start with 'The Wonder of You' where the entire crowd joins in, I will then sing 'Cant Help Falling In Love With You' and I always finish with 'Love Me Tender', which has a comedy twist to the end of it. Of course I sing 'Happy Birthday' or whatever is appropriate. In between these songs there will be clean family humour and time for photo's and I present the V.I.P. with a certificate & a box of choc's. If you want to add a personal touch to this unique and memorable surprise, when you book my ELVIS-O-GRAM you can give some background information about them and I will incorporate this into the act, I will also read out any personal messages if you wish.

Although there are set routines to the act, it can be tailored to suit your needs. I use a top quality portable amplifier so I will be heard loud and clear. If your party has a DJ, I have my own top quality backing tracks, In fact they are that good you will think I have a live band and & singers with me.

So in a nutshell .....A mixture of old Elvis songs (because there aren't any new ones), jokes, audience participation, and ad-lib comedy, my ELVIS-O-GRAM is guaranteed to make your special occasion a unique and memorable one.
